Viewing analyses in Express Mode

You can do the following in Express Mode:

•  

• Switch between visualizations by clicking the Previous and Next arrows at the top of the analysis

• Filter the data displayed in the analysis using the Filters panel to the left

• Sort, and pivot data displayed in a Grid visualization

Visualizations displayed in Express Mode may not appear the same as those displayed in Visual Insight Mode.

Prerequisites

•  

• You must have a MicroStrategy Report Services product license.

• You must have Web Analyst privileges.

• You must have the Execute Document or Analysis privilege.

To display an analysis in Express Mode

•  

1. In MicroStrategy Web, navigate to the folder in which the analysis is located, then click the name of the analysis to run it.

2. From the analysis toolbar, click the Express Mode icon .
