Viewing analyses in Flash Mode

You can do the following in Flash Mode:

•  

• Switch between visualizations by clicking the Previous and Next arrows at the top of the analysis

• Filter the data displayed in the analysis using the Filters panel to the left

• Sort, pivot, and drill on data displayed in a Grid visualization

Visualizations displayed in Flash Mode may not appear the same as those displayed in Visual Insight Mode.

Prerequisites

• You must have the MicroStrategy Report Services product.

• You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer.

• You must have Flash Mode enabled in your User Preferences. To do this, click Preferences at the top of the page, click Report Services on the left, and select the Enable Flash Mode check box.

• You must have the Execute Document or Analysis privilege.

To display an analysis in Flash Mode

1. In MicroStrategy Web, navigate to the folder in which the analysis is located, then click the name of the analysis to run it.

2. From the analysis toolbar, click the Flash Mode icon .
